An Eldred man was arraigned Tuesday before Magisterial District Judge Richard Luther on allegations he sent text messages in which he threatened to harm two people.
Court records said on Oct. 27, Theodore Vancise, 18, of 481 Canfield Hollow Road, messaged a juvenile female several times about a male she is was spending time with.
Court records indicate the texts became more aggressive, with Vancise threatening to “beat” the male’s “head in” and sending a photograph of a semi-automatic Desert Eagle handgun with the caption “Here’s my new gun”; he also sent texts saying “Me and my new gun is going to pay him a visit tonight,” as well as one indicating the two victims “better not” act a certain way “cause I will use my new toy.”
Vancise was arraigned Tuesday before Magisterial District Judge Richard Luther on charges of terroristic threats, a first-degree misdemeanor; and harassment, a summary charge, court records stated.
He was released in lieu $10,000 bail, and is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Dec. 1.
