SHINGLEHOUSE — A Shinglehouse man is in jail, charged with allegedly selling drugs in the Potter County borough.
Steffan Sisson, 26, of 34 Route 44, is charged with possession with intent to deliver, a felony; criminal use of a communication device, a third-degree felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
On Friday, a confidential informant of the East Drug Task Force told officers that a deal to buy one bag of heroin had been made with Sisson through Facebook Messenger. A search warrant was served on Sisson’s residence, and police found one bag of heroin along with smoking devices, a grinder and a razor blade, along with other paraphernalia throughout the house, according to court records.
Sisson cooperated with police and told them he had sold two bags of heroin to another person, and the money in his wallet was in part from selling heroin, court records read.
He was arraigned early Saturday morning before on-call Magisterial District Judge Annette Easton and remanded to jail in lieu of $20,000 bail. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 10 a.m. Nov. 22 before Magisterial District Judge Kari McCleaft.
