A Bradford man is in McKean County Jail for a domestic incident in October when he allegedly choked a woman and refused to let her leave.
Jeffery Morton, 43, of 14 Kane St., is charged with unlawful restraint, a first-degree misdemeanor; attempted assault, a second-degree misdemeanor; and harassment, a summary offense.
According to court records, from 4 p.m. Oct. 21 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 22, Morton kept a female victim inside his residence, not allowing her to leave and physically assaulted her.
Morton was arraigned Friday morning before District Judge Dom Cercone and remanded to jail in lieu of $10,000. He is scheduled to appear in Central Court on Thursday.
