A Bradford man waived a preliminary hearing Wednesday on allegations that he lied on a firearm form to the ATF.
Clifford Charnisky, 25, of 111 High St., is charged with providing false information regarding firearm ownership, a third-degree felony; and making a false statement, a third-degree misdemeanor.
Court records said on March 16, he went to Allegheny Arsenal on Main Street in Bradford and attempted to transfer ownership of a pistol. However, it was determined he made a false statement on an ATF form regarding a prior conviction related to domestic violence.
He remains free on his own recognizance.
