KANE — A cause has not yet been determined for a Wednesday morning car fire in Bradford City, according to state police fire marshal Trooper Russell Stewart.
At 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, Bruce Courteau Jr., 39, of Bradford, entered his 2005 Buick Lesabre, which was parked at 93 W. Corydon St., where he smelled smoke and saw all the windows were black on the inside. The back seat was burned and had smoke and fire damage, according to Stewart.
“This investigation at this time is classified as undetermined pending further investigation,” Stewart stated.
Courteau had only liability insurance on the car, which sustained an estimated $1,000 in damage, Stewart reported.
The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
