SHINGLEHOUSE — A Genesee man accused of downloading child pornography waived a preliminary hearing.
Gregory J. Moser, 60, was incarcerated on Oct. 12 in lieu of $75,000 for the allegations. He was scheduled to appear Oct. 25 for a preliminary hearing, but court records indicate the hearing was cancelled, as he waived the hearing.
Court records said an agent with the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Child Predator Unit saw Moser’s computer, which was associated with a child pornography site, downloading 123 files, images and videos the morning of July 29. Files allegedly downloaded by Moser included some with young boys and girls.
Moser is charged with 20 counts of possession child pornography, all second-degree felonies; and one count of criminal use of a communication facility, a third-degree felony, court records stated.
