Foster Township Police were called to assist staff members at Beacon Light Behavioral Health Systems main building Friday night for a reported riot, with nine residents of the agency allegedly attacking three staff.
Initial reports at about 7:55 p.m., coming to emergency responders from a staff member and a resident, indicated windows had been broken out and the broken glass was being used to threaten staff, radio reports indicated.
Shortly after the call, emergency responders arrived on scene, and medical personnel were treating individuals, according to initial reports. There was no indication of serious injuries.
