OLEAN, N.Y. — Poet Steven Huff will conduct a workshop on writing a short story at 11 a.m. Nov. 12.
A light snack will be served. There is no need for registration. Huff is the author of two books of poetry, most recently More Daring Escapes (2008), and a collection of stories, A Pig in Paris (2008). He is a Pushcart Prize winner in fiction and an O.Henry finalist.
The workshop is sponsored by the New York State Council of the Arts with support from Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and the Olean Public Library with assistance from the Cattaraugus County Arts Council.
