Residents at The Pavilion in Bradford will be getting a special treat on Halloween –– more than 500 students from School Street Elementary School will dress in costumes and visit them for a few minutes.
The annual event, scheduled for Monday morning, gives students an opportunity to interact with Pavilion residents.
“They love it for many reasons. They love it for the parade,” said School Street Principal Sarah Tingley.
A total of 565 students and about 40 school staff members will participate in shifts in the event. They will walk from the elementary school, down Pleasant Street to the The Pavilion, which is part of the Bradford Regional Medical Center complex.
“It’s just a nice community effort,” Tingley said of the event, which has been held for about eight years.
