OLEAN, N.Y. — The Olean Area Stamp Club will hold its 20th annual Stamp and Post Card Show next month.
There will be an exhibit of McKean County, Pa., postal history, featuring memorabilia and covers from the earliest post offices in the county.
Eight dealers from New York state, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Ohio will be available for selling and buying. They will also offer free appraisals, so residents are invited to dig out their philatelic items or postcards sitting in their closets or attics.
The show will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 8 at the BPOE Elks Club, No. 491, 209 W. State St., Olean. The show is located two blocks west of the intersection of routes 417 and 16. Admission to the show is free and open to the public.
