SMETHPORT — A Bradford woman will serve a term in McKean County Jail in Smethport on child endangerment allegations.
Misty Good, 31, of Bradford, who appeared Thursday in McKean County Court, will serve four to 11 ½ months in jail with credit for 106 days of time served, along with two years of probation.
President Judge John Pavlock also ordered that she receive a mental health evaluation and testify truthfully against her codefendant in the case — Christopher Feidler — and have no contact with juveniles until she completes parenting classes through The Guidance Center. Good is only allowed to have contact with the victim — her 5-year-old son — except for dependency proceedings.
Good pleaded guilty Feb. 17 to one felony charge of endangering the welfare of children.
She allowed Feidler, 31, to strike the boy on the buttock, lower back and thighs for misbehavior while she watched, District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer said the day Good entered her plea. The boy was treated at Bradford Regional Medical Center for contusions, bruises and welts.
Feidler, who is in jail in lieu of $75,000 bail, is scheduled to appear for a last day to plea conference on March 31. He is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and endangering the welfare of children, court records stated.
