The Ms. Wheelchair Pennsylvania Program is currently seeking contestants for the 2016 Ms. Wheelchair Pennsylvania Pageant.
The pageant will be held March 19 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Bradford.
Anyone who is a woman age 21 or over who uses a wheelchair for 100 percent of daily community mobility and has been a resident of Pennsylvania for at least six months is eligible to enter the competition.
Contestants are judged on their accomplishments since the onset of disability, communication skills and self-perception. Contestants will also be judged on their performance in personal interviews, platform speech presentations and on-stage questions.
Ms. Wheelchair Pennsylvania is not a beauty contest and marital status is not a consideration.
The deadline for registration is Feb. 19 and the registration fee is $75.
