RIDGWAY — The investigation is ongoing into the cause of a fire that destroyed two sheds at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday at 152 Siecker Road in St. Marys.

State fire marshal Cpl. Greg Agosti said the fire started in a 10-foot-by-12-foot wood frame shed owned by Edward and Jennifer Greenawalt of St. Marys and spread to a 12-foot-by-24-foot wood frame shed.

No one was injured in the incident, but the fire caused an estimated $25,000 in damage, Agosti reported.

Agosti did not say whether suspicious circumstances exist, but he asks that anyone with information contact St. Marys City Police or the state police fire marshal, who investigated the origin and cause along with the Crystal Fire Department of St. Marys.
