Grace Lutheran Church will observe Advent with “Hark the Glad Sound,” three special Wednesday evening services beginning Dec. 2.
Before each of the 7 p.m. services, a family-oriented potluck supper will be held at the church social hall at 6 p.m. Grace is located at 79 Mechanic St.
All are welcome to take part in both the dinners and the services.
The Rev. Patrick Cox, pastor, explained that each worship service will focus on a song from the Bible which highlights and Advent activity preparing to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
Written by the Rev. Vern Gundermann, the services include “The Song of Mary,” “The Song of the Angels” and “The Song of the Church.” Each of these will include both traditional and original music, along with seasonal music by the church choir.
