Farmers just starting out and those looking to expand or diversify are invited to a workshop on Feb. 25 at Audubon County Extension. Farm Service Agency, the Ag Development Division of the Iowa Finance Authority and Iowa State University Extension are teaming up to present a meeting focused on helping new and beginning producers.
The goal of the workshop is to teach these producers what types of agricultural loans are available to help create successful enterprises. The topics for discussion include: USDA beginning farmer loans and program, State of Iowa beginning farmer loans and tax credit programs, how to develop a success plan and various resources available from ISU Extension.
