AUSTIN — Tory McCutcheon and Demi Youse combined for 22 points to lead Northern Potter to a 59-32 victory over Austin in girls North Tier League basketball action Friday night.
McCutcheon scored 12 points and Youse 10 for the winners.
NoPo broke the game open with a 20-point second quarter after trailing by one, 12-11, at the end of the first period.
It has been a struggle this season for Austin, which is still waiting to break into the win column at 0-13.
“We’re learning every game,” said Kurt Logue, Austin coach. “We have a young team and it is what it is.”
Kaylee Brooks (12) and Kina Logue (11) led Austin offensively.
Austin returns to action Tuesday at Oswayo Valley.
