DUKE CENTER — Seth Drummond rushed for 233 yards on 23 carries and scored four touchdowns to send Otto-Eldred (2-6) to a 41-14 AML North Division win over Sheffield (1-7) on Friday night.
Drummond scored on runs of 14, 58, 22 and 30 yards.
“Impressive,” O-E coach Virgil Graham said of Drummond’s performance. “We mixed it up and had good running all over.”
Nick Appleby added 47 yards on six carries, Heath Stewart tallied 44 yards on seven rushes and Scott Pollier had 19 yards on four carries. Pollier had a two-yard rushing touchdown. Appleby had a conversion run and threw to Stewart for another.
Defensively, Hobie Milliron returned an interception 100 yards for a Terrors’ score. Stewart and Grant West also were credited with interceptions. Aric Taylor had a fumble recovery.
West added a PAT kick.
Jasani Marlow scored on a 58-yard run for the Wolverines. In addition, Adam Higby teamed with Marquis Clark on a 65-yard aerial for a Sheffield score.
“Our defense was stellar,” Graham added. “(As a team), we didn’t quit and kept working.”
During the game, $258.66 was raised for breast cancer awareness.
