Bradford High concluded its girls’ tennis season with a 6-3 victory over Clearfield at Pitt-Bradford on Thursday.
Hannah Burgoon, Mandy Droney, Mary Schroll and Danielle Weaver picked up singles victories for the Lady Owls (2-10).
Isis Wilcox and Jeana Ruffner and Ali Baney and Jordan McCormick won in doubles play for BAHS.
“Overall, we had a lot of close matches that we didn’t win, but the kids never quit,” Bradford coach Mark Sherman said. “We kept plugging through. It was nice to get this victory tonight.
“I’d like to thank Hannah, Mary, Ali, Jordan and Danielle Weaver — my seniors. I’d like to thank them for their hard work and dedication with me the last two years.”
