ULYSSES — Brooke Roys turned in another dominating pitching performance as Port Allegany beat Northern Potter 5-0 Friday.
Roys tossed her second no-hitter of the week and struck out 17 for the third time this week and also had three singles at the plate.
For the season, she has struck out 174 in 85 innings.
“Real proud of Brooke again, she’s been doing a real good job for us,” said Port Allegany coach Mackenna Bickford.
Barb Pinchock and Sam Metzger had two hits apiece for the Lady Gators, who are now 5-1 this week.
Tori McCutcheon was on the mound for Northern Potter, allowing 10 hits and striking out one.
Port has one final game this week, traveling to Galeton today for an 11 a.m. start.
The game was originally supposed to be a doubleheader, but it will now be one game only.
