BROOKVILLE — Bradford High upped its record to 2-1 after a 107-41 track and field win over Brookville on Wednesday.
Noah Whittemore (100, 200, 400 relay, 1600 relay) quadrupled for the Owls.
Tyler Nuzzo (400, 800, 1600 relay), Steve Zawatski (shot put, discus, javelin) and Alex Colosimo (110 high hurdles, 300 hurdles, 400 relay) tripled.
“Those four guys have been scoring in the invitationals for us,” Bradford coach Tom Tessena said. “They did a good job. They are working every day.”
Zawatski had a personal best in the discus (125’8’’).
Mitch Vleminckx (long jump, 400 relay) doubled. Vleminckx was third in the 100 and second in the intermediate hurdles.
Justin Keller had a personal best 12’9’’ in winning the pole vault. Keller placed second in the triple jump.
Colosimo added a third-place finish in the 200 dash, while Jake Soto was second in the pole vault and second in the long jump as well as being part of the 400 relay.
Jake Sampson had a personal best in winning the high jump (5’3’’).
Austin Johnson was second in the 400 and “ran a good leg in the 1600 relay,” according to Tessena.
Hunter Ackley won the 3200 run and placed second in the 1600 and Devin Kerr was third in the discus.
“A lot of guys had personal bests,” Tessena added. “The weather was nice down here. Brookville is kind of a young team. We had a good, solid showing.”
Bradford will host DuBois on Tuesday.
