AUSTIN — Austin picked up its first softball victory of the season, 15-2 over Oswayo Valley in five innings Wednesday.
Kaylee Brooks threw a one-hitter on the mound, striking out eight and walking five.
At the plate, Brooks was 2-for-4, Hannah Glover 3-for-3, while Jesse Reidmiller and Mia Glover both had doubles and Emily Simms was 2-for-4.
Collectively, the Panthers had 14 hits.
Austin is at Coudersport on Friday.
