COUDERSPORT — Empereon Marketing in Coudersport has announced plans for an expansion of the company, bringing with it the potential to add more than 100 jobs to the local workforce over the coming months.
The announcement was made during the company’s public reception for its fifth anniversary in the borough. With headquarters based in Phoenix, Ariz., Empereon currently operates a call center in the former Adelphia “Tennis Center” in west Coudersport.
Empereon’s announcement provided a sigh of relief for Potter County officials, who are still not certain what type of impact will be felt in the community with the news of possible layoffs due to a rumored restructuring at the Level 3 Communications facility in Coudersport.
