The J.C. Penney catalog store inside Cavallaro Paint & Decorating on Kennedy Street will close Sept. 30.
Owner Steve Cavallaro said he was notified by the J.C. Penney Co. this week that the company is discontinuing the franchised business, which it calls “jcp express.”
