The Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co., a subsidiary of El Paso Corp.,
will spend hundreds of millions of dollars to increase the capacity
of its “300 Line” interstate pipeline in order to accommodate the
increase in natural gas production from drilling in Marcellus Shale
deposits in the area.
