Nearly 300 arrests were made in McKean
County for driving under the influence of alcohol in 2009, and more
than two-thirds of those were made by the Kane-based state
police.

According to figures compiled in the McKean County Probation
office, there were 297 cases of DUI during 2009. According to state
police figures, troopers from the Kane barracks made 204 DUI
arrests in 2009 — nearly double the number from the year
before.
