Chan Gailey is absolutely ecstatic.
Back in the Bills’ years among the NFL elite – 1988-96 – when Levy
took Buffalo to eight playoff appearances in nine seasons,
including six in a row, with five berths in the AFC Championship
Game and four trips to the Super Bowl, his team persistently played
prime-time games or was on national telecasts.
He realized that visibility was a product of the Bills’ success but
would often concede, If a coach had his choice, he would prefer his
team play every week at the same time… 1 o’clock Sunday
afternoon.
