The Pitt-Bradford basketball teams swept an AMCC doubleheader
from D’Youville College at the Sport & Fitness Center on
Wednesday.
The Lady Panthers put five players in double-figure scoring in
an 81-70 victory.
Hollie Rapp had 14 points and 11 rebounds, Danielle Zeamer had
22 points on 11-for-15 from the field, Maggie Dalton had 15 points,

“We played well as a team,” said Allan King, Pitt-Bradford head
coach. “We were finally able to hold a lead.”
The Lady Panthers will travel to the Muhlenberg (Ohio) College
Tournament on Friday (6 p.m.).
In the nightcap, Zach Moore’s dunk with 1:42 left in overtime
was the key bucket in the Panthers’ 67-60 win over the Spartans
(0-1, 0-1).
The game was tied 30-all at the half and 56-56 at the end of
regulation, but Zach Moore scored seven of the Panthers’ 11 points
in the extra session.
Pitt-Bradford’s Sam Moore led all scorers with 17 points and
also grabbed 16 rebounds. Zach Moore added 16 points, Aaron Stang
had 12 points, Dan Heisey had five assists and Jerusalem Strickland

time.
D’Youville’s 6-9 freshman Patrick Coyle had 12 points and 10
boards.
“We were lucky to win,” said Andy Moore, Pitt-Bradford head
coach. “We played poorly for 38 minutes. We shot it poorly from the
floor and the line, and we had way too many turnovers (21), but we
picked up our defense at the end of regulation and in the
overtime.”
The Panthers (1-1, 1-0) will travel to the Buffalo State
Tournament and play the host team on Friday (8 p.m.).
